What is colored spun yarn? How to develop new products of colored spun yarn?
Colored spun yarn is a type of yarn made by blending two or more colored fibers before spinning.

Extension of Color Spinning
1、Soluble-transformed products
Once consumers have worn fashion items made from this yarn for some time, these garments can be converted into a new style
with simple treatments.
This is actually a new type of product developed by introducing water-soluble fibers into color spinning.
For conventional color spinning, water-soluble fibers can be used to create hollow yarn and bulky yarn, which feature a soft hand feel.
After spinning, the water-soluble fibers are dissolved away, leaving voids in the yarn and fabric structure, resulting in hollow effect, bulkiness and softness.
This application is also feasible for colored spun yarn. Moreover, color-changing products can be developed via color spinning: colored water-soluble
fibers are added in a small proportion as part of the colored yarn. When this small portion is dissolved, the color ratio in the yarn changes,
and the yarn and fabric thus shift to a different color.
As long as consumers avoid contact with high-temperature water when wearing these garments, the color will not change. After a period of use,
simply soak and wash the apparel in moderately hot water for a certain time, and the color will transform.
For example, an orange garment is typically composed of three types of fibers: the main base fiber, a portion of yellow fiber, and a small amount of red fiber.
If the red component is made of water-soluble fiber, once the red part dissolves in water, the original orange color will turn into light yellow.
2、Color Porcelain Yarn
Inspired by nature and cultural life, we blend various fibers to produce fancy yarns with distinctive color effects.
The color palette is reminiscent of artisanal crafts and porcelain, lending garments a sense of nobility, elegance and mystery.
3、Section-dyed Yarn
Along the length of the yarn, another color appears intermittently, which is also known as rainbow yarn by some.
It is actually a kind of low-ratio slub yarn, with colorful sections and low-ratio slubs distributed along the yarn.
Upon closer inspection, it can be found that the yarn mainly contains additional heterochromatic fibers.
In fact, segment color yarn is a variant of conventional slub yarn applied in color spinning.
4、Bi-Color & Multi-Color Spun Yarn
With the application of Sirospun technology in color spinning, the introduction of color elements has led to the development
of two-color yarns and multi-color yarns. This is mainly achieved by feeding two differently colored fiber strands into the spinning frame.
By further extending this technology to the roving process, replacing the conventional single sliver feeding method with a dual
feeding system of “sliver + roving”, another multi-color style known as roving Sirospun technology has been developed.
5、Spot Yarn
It originated from neps, which were originally defects in the spinning process. In color spinning, these neps are deliberately enlarged,
transforming the large neps into colorful dots, thus giving birth to the new product: color dot yarn.
Other varieties include filament dot yarn, silk rain yarn, ribbed yarn, moiré yarn, and more.Simply put,
the color dots in the yarn are replaced by messy, fine short fiber segments.
These techniques can also be combined. For example, water-soluble transformation technology can be integrated with segment
color and color dot technologies, allowing the segment colors and color dots to change dynamically.
Orange can turn into yellow or red, and a dot-patterned effect can become dot-free, resulting in endless variations.
