Polyester yarn refers to yarn spun from polyester raw materials. Polyester is a type of fiber make by spinning polymers.

At present, it mostly refers to fiber produce from polyethylene terephthalate, So abbreviated as PET fiber, commonly known as polyester.

Pure polyester yarn is spun from polyester staple fibers. Such staple fibers are classifie into different categories:

By length: cotton-type fiber with a length of about 37mm; medium-length fiber with a length of 51mm–57mm; wool-type fiber with a length of 75mm–105mm.
