For Low Elastic Yarn Also known as Draw Texturing Yarn (abbreviated as DTY), is a type of textured polyester chemical fiber. It takes polyester chips (PET) as raw material, adopts high-speed spinning to produce Polyester Oriented Yarn (POY), and is then processed by drawing and false twisting. It features a short production process, high efficiency and stable quality.

Differences:

1、Elasticity difference: High-elastic yarn has much stronger elasticity than low-elastic yarn.
2、 Process difference: For conventional polyester texturing on the texturing machine, turning on the second heater produces low-elastic yarn, while keeping it off produces high-elastic yarn.
3、 Shape difference: DTY fiber is crimpe, while FDY fiber is straight.
4、 Cost difference: Polyester low-elastic yarn involves more production procedures with higher cost; high-elastic yarn costs relatively lower.
